Hi everyone,
Spring is here! Isn't that amazing?
As the weather begins to warm-up, now is a good time to engage your students on school garden brainstorming activities.
Here are some questions to guide your discussions:
How can we provide food, water and shelter for pollinators? What pollinators are we looking to see in our gardens? What type of plants attract those pollinators? Are we looking to have a vegetable garden? Which foods depend on bees and other pollinators?
Please share details of your school garden discussions as they unfold!
I am very excited for the coming months and look forward to working with your schools.

Great idea, Michael!
Learning about the natural home or environment of plants and animals are the basics for purposeful gardening. I look forward to your discussions in the coming weeks!
Hi Eneze,
I'm happy to see your post. I will be engaging my Grade 4/5 students (here in Toronto) on school gardens after we learn about habitats in the coming weeks! I hope to share our discussions here.
Best,
Michael
