The UK Ministry of Defence and Thales UK have signed the long-awaited 拢700 million $1.2 billion contract for the development, manufacture and initial support of the Watchkeeper unmanned air vehicle system. The system is [url=https://www.yeezy.com.mx]yeezy[/url] due to come into service in 2010.Thales UK chief executive Alex Dorrian says the company expects to secure export sales of at least 拢400 million over the next 10 years .The system will comprise WK450 UAVs with an endurance of more than 16 [url=https://www.yeezy.com.mx]yeezy mx[/url] h to be operated by the Royal Artillery. Thales UK says it will announce details of its selected payload and synthetic- aperture radar/ground moving-target indicator suite shortly. Thales UK and Israels Elbit Systems have set up a Leicester-based joint venture to manufacture, support and upgrade tactical UAV subsystems for Watchkeeper and other UAV systems. Thales says a significant Watchkeeper contract will be placed with the joint venture in the forthcoming weeks . The 14th annual Nantucket Film Festival closed tonight with Showtimes Tony Cox Screenplay Competition award going to Jenny Deller for her script Future Weather.The award is for an emerging screenwriter, selected from more than 600 s [url=https://www.ye-ti.ca]yeti canada[/url] ubmissions. The jury was comprised of Fisher Stevens, Jessie Nelson and Lily Taylor.In other awards, the festivals third annual Adrienne Shelley Excellence in Filmmaking Award, with a cash prize, to Cherien Dabis, director of Amreeka.Showtimes Tony Cox Award for Screenwriting went to Mark Boal for The Hurt Locker. The award for screenwriting for shorts went to Adam Leon and Jack Pettibone Riccobono for Killer.Louie Psihoyos Sundance hit The Cove won best storytelling in a documentary and the audience award for best feature.Meanwhile, the audience prize for best short went to Mary Ann Kelloggs Abuelo and the Teen View on NFF prize went to Bragi Schut Jrs Charlie Thistle.The four-day Massachusetts event also paid tribute to Harold Ramis with its annual Screenwriting Award.
