He died on Wednesday, Sept. 4, six days before his 82nd birthday.Born in Calgary, Morton joined the Canadian military in 1954 and retired as a captain in 1964. He joined UTM as a history teacher in 1970, when it was then known as Erindale College, and became principal in 1986.In a statement released by the school, UTM acting vice=president and principal Ian Orchard said Morton played a critical role in building UTMs strong ties with our local community. And essentially we have just under two miles worth of trails and they are all loaded up with some fun scarecrows, said Lost River Caves Event Sales Manager Maegan Williams.聽This year there are 60 different scarecrows.
